Job Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an 8-week assignment featuring 12-hour shifts from 0530 to 1800, totaling 36 hours a week. The ideal candidate will possess strong obstetric (OB) experience and be a proactive team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Function independently with minimal supervision after orientation.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Position Requirements

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Experience requirements: Preferably one year of current acute care experience; new graduates will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and perform various physical tasks related to patient care.
• Must have auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures, with adequate vision for patient observation and charting procedures.
• Ability to meet specific criteria set forth by the Cardiopulmonary department.

Additional Information
