Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shift Details

This is a 13-week assignment featuring a 12-hour shift from 1730 to 0600, totaling 36 hours per week.

Position Overview

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires strong obstetric (OB) experience and a commitment to teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care and support to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Document patient assessments and care accurately and timely.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.

Requirements

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Must hold valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Preferably one year of current acute care experience; new graduates may also apply.
• Must possess the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including:
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist.
• Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed.
• Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet.
• Auditory and vision abilities sufficient to perform procedures and charting accurately.
• Must be a team player and flexible with scheduling and approved time off (RTO) requests.

This position is located near the beautiful Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest, providing a serene and picturesque workplace environment.
