Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Shift Information

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in nursing home facilities. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents while executing a variety of essential nursing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Admit new residents and ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
• Assist physicians during rounds in residents' rooms.
• Assign and delegate duties to non-licensed nursing staff effectively.
• Monitor resident care and supervise other nursing staff to maintain high care standards.
• Perform ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health.
• Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Guaranteed Hours

This position offers guaranteed hours, with a commitment of 91 contract weeks.

Additional Information

No on-call duties and no weekend scheduling required.
