Physical Therapist - Outpatient Care

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. This is a full-time position with day shifts from Monday to Friday, featuring variable days and a total of 40 working hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatments for patients with various diagnoses, including postoperative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis, general deconditioning, balance, and vertigo issues.
• Utilize advanced hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Involve in patient education and create individualized rehabilitative programs.
• Work collaboratively with a team to manage a typical patient ratio of 8 per day (Monday-Thursday) and 6 on Fridays.
• Address a variety of patient needs such as orthopaedic and sports injuries, gait training, balance training, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neurological disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Requirements

• 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience required (new graduates will not be considered).
• Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Previous rehab experience is mandatory, along with at least 3 months of travel experience.
• Must possess a valid NPI and have an updated CAQH profile.
• Flexible to work inpatient PT as needed and treat all diagnoses typically seen in outpatient clinics.
• Experience with CPSI EMR is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working with PTAs is a plus.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as the community does not have public transport.

Contract Details

This position is for a contract of 182 weeks, with holidays observed and mandatory coverage required during specific holiday weekends.
