Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift schedule. The RN will work 36 hours per week, typically from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Suitable candidates must have a strong background in cardiac step-down care and be available to start on either September 15 or October 20.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for cardiac step-down patients, including post-operative care for open-heart surgery patients.
• Manage and monitor heart catheter recovery, cardiac drips, and ventilatory support.
• Float to other units as needed during times of low volume or staffing crises.
• Participate in weekly schedules that include working every third weekend and one holiday, subject to change based on staffing needs.
• Assist with rare call days when census and staffing fluctuate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in cardiac step-down nursing.
• Proficient in managing open-heart, ventilatory support, and Epic EMR systems.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide compassionate care to patients.

Additional Information
