Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (M/S RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and support staff.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Common Diagnoses Encountered:

• Trauma
• Fractures
• Cellulitis
• Osteomyelitis
• Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
• Small bowel obstruction
• Prostate cancer
• Colon cancer
• Pancreatitis
• Facial injuries
• Fibroids
• Laryngeal cancer
• Respiratory distress
• Gunshot injuries
• Non-healing wounds

Surgical Specialties:

• Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
• Gynecology (GYN)

Requirements:

• Active Nursing License with Nursys License Verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• EPIC experience required
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Complete skills checklist
• References and Certification Card
• Demographic information loaded into profile, including badge-appropriate picture

Contract Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
• Contract Weeks: 54
