Weekend Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is for the day shift from 5 AM to 5 PM on weekends, providing vital care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Day Shift (5 AM - 5 PM)
• Position Type: Emergency Room RN
• Contract Duration: 91 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Urgency: Normal

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency setting.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Support and educate patients and their families on treatment plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
