X-ray Technologist - Weekend Rotations

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our team with weekend rotations. This position requires a commitment to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per the physician's orders.
• Administer and manage IV contrast as necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of patient history and imaging results.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards for patient safety and equipment operation.
• Participate in weekend rotations, potentially every other weekend, with availability on holidays.
• Float to other campuses as required, providing flexibility and support across the network.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of X-ray technologist experience is required.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system within the past 2 years (this is non-negotiable).
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Must be able to float to other campuses or possess equivalent experience.
• Reliable personal or rental transportation is required, as public transport is not available in the area.

Additional Information:

• No block schedules are available; work schedule flexibility is essential.
• Bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays, with the next available date to be confirmed.
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained during the application process.
• Complete work history, including bed count, EMR experience, and facility type, is necessary for submission.
