Job Description: OR RN with Trauma Experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic care. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional care to patients with diverse surgical needs. The ideal candidate will be prepared to cover night shifts as needed and will need to float between units within the facility.

Schedule

• Day 3x12-Hour Shifts: 07:00 - 19:30 and 09:00 - 21:30
• Potential Night Shift Coverage: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgery.
• BLS certification is a must.
• First-timers are accepted.
• Weekend and on-call shifts required (call distributed every 6 weeks).
• No pending licenses accepted.
• Must be willing to float between like units as needed.

Staffing & Patient Care Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 25 cases
• Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more.

Special Procedures/Unit Details

Requirements include:

• Experience in Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, and various orthopedic surgeries.
• Capability to manage trauma patients, including those with complex conditions.

Additional Information

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted location. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. We value flexibility and teamwork.
