Job Description: Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Information

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and delivering exceptional care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic methods including EKSO and InMotion UE Robotics in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies and promote independence through functional training.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress using electronic health records (EHR) systems, including UDS and Epic.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required.
• Patient Population: Experience with geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (aged 13 and older) preferred.
• Special Skills: Knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments including neuro, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac conditions.
• Personality Fit: Strong teamwork, communication skills, work ethic, and a sense of responsibility.
• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Number of Openings: 1
• Call Requirements: None

You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of clinicians focused on improving individual functional abilities and enhancing the quality of life for our patients.
