Job Description: Night Shift Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Night Shift in the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. This position operates on a rotating schedule between night and day shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Unit Details

• Unit: West 6 Med/Tele
• Number of Beds: 37
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) / rotating shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least 1 holiday per contract

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
• Preferred Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
• License and Certifications: Active NY RN license, NIH, AHA BLS
• Work Experience: 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Charting: EPIC
• Flexibility: Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule
• Floating: Required to float to other units if needed
• Charge Nurse: Must be willing to work charge
• Training: Highland will train if needed
• Location Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 91
