Job Description: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment where you will provide exceptional care to patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon; D/N rotation may be needed)
• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry prior to travel assignments.
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required; travel experience is acceptable.
• Must possess a valid Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Two references are essential; one must be from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
• Pass both ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.

Additional Information

Travelers will be submitted for one job at a time within the system. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will not be accepted. The facility is exempt from nicotine-free requirements for nurses and surgical techs due to temporary policies.

Candidates must complete badging and fingerprints onsite before starting, and any required modules will be done pre-start and annually, with some being billable up to 4 hours.
