Job Description: Burn ICU RN

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Burn ICU team. This position focuses on providing exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. As an RN in the Burn ICU, you will play a crucial role in the recovery of patients with severe burn injuries, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Contract Weeks: 91
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Unit Information

• Hospital Location: Nashville, TN
• Unit Name: Burn ICU
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: ICU patients 2:1; Med/surg and PCU patients 4:1
• Staffing: Charge RN, RNs, PCT

Equipment and Documentation

• Type of Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, CRRT (occasionally)
• Documentation System: Meditech

Qualifications

• Required Skills: Med/surg experience preferred
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy scrubs
