X-Ray Tech Position

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech for a night shift position offering a unique 7 on/7 off schedule. This is a fantastic opportunity for first-time travelers as well as seasoned professionals to join a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00) or 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00)
• Contract Length: 16 weeks, must continue into January, with an earliest end date of January 31st.
• Weekends Required: Yes, every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine outpatient diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable radiography for inpatients, emergency department, and post-surgical patients.
• Conduct fluoroscopy procedures, including lumbar punctures and barium studies.
• Operate C-arms and O-arms in surgical suites for various specialties, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular, and urology.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid ARRT certification.
• 1 year of experience in X-ray technology required.
• Experience with Epic or similar charting systems is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care/Level II Trauma Center
• Total Staff Beds: 209
• Teaching Hospital
• Scrub Color: Any color, scrubs are provided in sterile units such as OR, ICU, ER, and COVID units.
• Interdisciplinary support for diverse patient diagnoses across all age groups including infants, children, and geriatrics.

Additional Information

• Expected Patient Ratios: 1:1
• No on-call duty required.
• Compliance documents must be submitted by Monday prior to start date.
• References Required: Two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years.
