Job Title: Travel RN - Med Surg 6F

Shift Details:

Shift: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) - Every other weekend required

Contract Duration: 91 Weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN for our Med Surg 6F unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health management post-discharge.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR preferred.

Requirements:

• Valid Compact or AL RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Patient Ratio:

6 to 1

Additional Information:

This position may require floating to other units based on staffing needs. The facility has a number of beds, and detailed information can be provided during the interview process.
