Job Title: Med Surg RN - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN to join our healthcare team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience, specialized in medical-surgical nursing, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during the night shift.

Shift Details

• Type: Night Shift (3x12-Hour)
• Hours: 19:00 - 07:00
• Orientation: Every Monday
• Schedule: Weekdays, holidays, and every other weekend

Patient Care Details

• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Daily Census: Approximately 9 patients
• Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Number of Beds: 15
• Interdisciplinary Support: Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy
• Common Diagnoses: COPD exacerbation, Dementia, Sepsis, UTIs, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; certifications must be from the American Heart Association
• Charting System Experience: Required experience with Community Hospital system
• Travel Experience: Preferred
• References: Minimum of 2 manager or charge references within the past 2 years

Additional Information

Travelers must provide a signed doctor's note for medical exemptions to the flu vaccine. Religious exemption requests will not be considered. A West Virginia or Compact RN license is required, and pending licenses may be accepted.
