Job Description: Rehab RN - Night Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Rehab RN for the Night Shift (3x12-Hour) from 19:00 to 07:30. This position offers an opportunity for both experienced and first-time traveling RNs to make a significant impact in patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Job Details

• Shift: Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: Option of 36 or 48 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Patient Ratios: 1:8
• Orientation: Brief orientation provided for travelers
• Contract Duration: 91 weeks

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Travel Experience: Preferred but not mandatory
• Community Hospital/LTC Experience: Preferred
• Charge Experience: Preferred
• Charting System Experience: Epic experience preferred

Skills and Competencies

• Acute inpatient rehabilitation
• Management of angina, anti-seizure medications, and anti-coagulants
• Care and management of patients with mechanical ventilation and chronic renal failure
• Infection prevention and control
• Patient teaching and health education
• Wound care and pressure ulcer assessment/prevention
• Mobility and transfer techniques
• Suctioning, NG tube insertion, and PEG tube management

Additional Information

Travelers will be expected to float to similar units as needed based on the facility's requirements. All assignments are subject to compliance guidelines, including a valid NM or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
