Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at a critical access hospital. The position focuses primarily on outpatient care, while also supporting some inpatient and skilled nursing facility (SNF) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are looking to expand their skills and work in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with various conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient, acute care, or long-term care settings.
• Cerifications: BLS and current state license (pending licenses accepted).
• Experience with a variety of patient conditions, including but not limited to:
  • Cervicalgia
  • Post-operative care (cervical surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery)
  • Total hip and knee replacements
  • Cognitive disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease
  • Post-stroke rehabilitation
  • Spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries

Work Schedule

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with the possibility of accommodating block scheduling. The ideal candidate should be willing to work occasional holidays and be flexible with scheduling.

Housing and Vehicle Information

The facility provides housing and a shared-use rental vehicle for travelers during their assignment. Housing is typically a one-bedroom apartment, and vehicles are company-owned for local use.

Additional Information

This position does not require on-call shifts, and candidates will not float between other facilities. The facility is located within a 50-mile radius rule, so applicants must meet this requirement.
