Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs continuously, reporting any significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner EMR.
• Utilize advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) techniques as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience is required.
• Cerner EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates must have a permanent residence located 50+ miles from the facility.
• Active state nursing license or pending license candidates will be considered.

• Position is open due to a vacancy within the unit.

• This position may require floating to other units as necessary.

Work Schedule

Scheduled shifts will be nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility with scheduling requests is encouraged.
