Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Overview

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a dynamic outpatient setting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on patient-centered care and rehabilitation.

Shift Details

• Shift: Days (8 hours)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, variable days
• Total Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on physical therapy techniques and patient education.
• Work with patients recovering from orthopedic and sports injuries.
• Assist in gait and balance training, as well as rehabilitation for musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
• Support patients dealing with neurological disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, and workplace injuries.
• Maintain a typical patient ratio of 8 per day Monday-Thursday and 6 on Fridays.
• Participate in inpatient PTA duties as needs arise.

• Orthopedic and sports injuries
• Balance training and fall prevention
• Neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's
• Bone and joint diseases
• Hand injuries and musculoskeletal dysfunctions
• Pulmonary rehabilitation and incontinence

Qualifications

• 2 years of current PTA experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Previous rehab and travel experience required (minimum of 3 months).
• Updated CAQH and NPI must be included in profile.
• Flexibility in schedule and duties is essential.
• CPSI EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle, as the facility is in a community without public transport.

Additional Information

• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted during the application process.
