Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Birth Center
Position Details
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics to join our team in a vibrant hospital located in southeastern Washington. This teaching hospital serves the Tri-Cities area, offering opportunities to work in a beautiful recreational landscape known for its rich wine country.

- Shift: Nights (18:30 - 07:00)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: 48/month

- Number of Beds: 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, 3 triage beds
- Patient Volume: 110 deliveries per month
- Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines
- Equipment: EHR: Centricity and Paragon
- Supervisor: Melissa Wilson
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal health and maternal well-being.
- Support patients during labor, offering emotional and physical assistance.
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.
- Float to Mother/Baby as required.
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Experience: 2 years recent acute experience preferred
- Must Have Skills/Experience: OR circulation, mother/baby, triage (preferred but not required)
- Flexibility and good communication skills are essential.
Dress Code
Scrub Color: Blue and Blue/Green.
Any unacceptable attire is not specified.

Additional Information
This is a replacement position with a guaranteed contract period of 91 weeks. Candidates should be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance.
