Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN

Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join a leading hospital located in Ohio. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Rotating shifts: Typically consists of 2 weeks Day, 2 weeks Night if needed to meet operational needs.

Contract Length

The facility is willing to approve contracts of up to 15-16 weeks. Please confirm your desired length of contract at the time of submission.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Must have an active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
• Must undergo ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both.
• A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.

Additional Information

• Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time within the healthcare system.
• Must communicate all requests for time off during the interview process.
• Background checks and drug screenings are mandatory; must be completed within specified timeframes.
• PAPRs are not considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair unless approved for medical or religious exemptions.
• Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints at the facility before the start date.
