LPN - Woodbridge Rehab & Nursing

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift position at Woodbridge Rehab & Nursing. As an LPN in this facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Floating to various units as required by the facility.
• Providing compassionate care to patients with dementia and other conditions.
• Performing routine nursing tasks including administering medications and monitoring patients' health.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Active LPN license and BLS certification through the AHA.
• A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required, with prior experience in long-term care (LTC).
• Must be comfortable working with dementia patients.
• Travelers must be willing to float to other units as staffing needs arise.
• Complete all employment history information including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc. for submission.
• Ability to explain any employment gaps over 90 days.

Important Notes

• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable personal or rental vehicle required.
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
• Travelers are expected to adhere to their assigned hours as stated in their contracts; preplanned time off requests must be communicated in advance.

Contract Details

This position is for a 12-hour night shift, with a contract length of 42 weeks. Guaranteed hours available.
