Job Opportunity: Supervisor/Charge Nurse for Med-Surg and ER

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Supervisor/Charge Nurse to join our medical-surgical (Med-Surg) and emergency room (ER) teams. This is a working supervisor role, offering an opportunity to directly engage in patient care while leading a dynamic nursing team. You will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high standards of patient care within both departments.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 12 hr Nights
• Shift Hours: 7p - 7a
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff in Med-Surg and ER departments.
• Provide hands-on patient care as a working supervisor.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
• Train team members in ER and Med-Surg protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Education & Training

Please submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education/training received as part of your application.

This position has a normal urgency for filling.

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 112 weeks
