Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 26
• Number of Staff: 45
• Staffing Structure:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Rapid Response RN, 5 RNs for 10 ICU patients (staff increases based on grid)
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Rapid Response RN, 5 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician for 10 ICU patients (staff increases based on grid)
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1

Required Equipment:

• Mechanical Ventilators
• Balloon Pumps
• CRRTs
• Impella
• EKOS

Electronic Medical Records (EMR):

Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have:
  • 1 year ICU experience
  • ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications
• Preferred:
  • CRRT, Impella, Balloon Pump experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Bedside Tracheostomy
• PEG Insertions
• Central Line Insertions

Best Personality Fit:

Candidate should work well with others and be a team player.

• BLS
• NIH
