Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 2
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • RRT
  • NRP
• Preferred Certification: NPS (Neonatal Pediatric Specialty Certification)
• Charting System Experience Required: Epic

Position Requirements

• NICU Experience Required
• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics
• Travel Experience: Not Required

Skills and Competencies

Required skills include:

• ABG interpretation
• Aerosol setup (mask & trach)
• Basic EKG
• Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia management
• High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) application
• Neonatal transports (inter-departmental)
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Extubation
• Direct Intubation (Neonatal & Pediatric)
• Others as outlined in specifics above

Facility and Unit Information

Type of Facility: Level Two Trauma Center
Location: Pacific Campus

This is a fast-paced environment with a daily census of varying patients. All candidates must be adaptable and willing to float within the hospital or to adjacent facilities as required.
