Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at a critical access hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. This role is essential in providing care to mothers, newborns, and families during labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring mothers and their newborns.
• Assist in labor and delivery processes, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
• Deliver compassionate postpartum care to mothers and babies.
• Monitor the health and wellbeing of both mother and infant, documenting observations and interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Work Schedule

This position requires 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a commitment to working every third weekend.

Requirements

• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Relevant nursing experience in labor and delivery or postpartum care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details

This is a full-time position offering guaranteed hours for a contract of 42 weeks.
