Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 7A - 7:30P

Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Epic experience for a position in a 600+ bed academic hospital. This role requires effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in various units as needed.
• Conduct assessments and develop patient care plans based on individualized needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in competency testing within 24 hours of submission.

Requirements:

• Epic experience is required.
• 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score, or 2 years of experience without testing requirements.
• Must be able to provide an up-to-date email address for competency test communication.
• Availability to float to other units as required.
• Navy blue scrubs are mandatory.

Additional Information:

• Position is for a duration of 91 contract weeks.
• Guaranteed hours: 1 per week.
• Interviews will involve multiple stakeholders within the organization.
• No local candidates from ineligible counties will be accepted effective 1/11/2024.
