X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a community hospital environment, providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a teaching facility and will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.

Facility Information

• Total Facility Beds: 75
• Unit Name: Radiology Unit
• Specialty: X-Ray
• Unit Beds/Suites: 3 X-Ray Rooms in main department, 2 X-Ray units at Ortho Teaching Facility

Position Details

• Shift: 8H Rotating
• Shift Hours: Primarily Day Shifts
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Weekend Requirements: Rotation between 5 techs (8a-2p Sat/Sun)
• Holiday Requirements: Rotation between 5 techs (8a-2p)
• Floating Required: Yes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in specialty required
• ARRT Certification is required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• EPIC Radiant EHR experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable
• IVS to Offer

Additional Information

• Documentation System: Epic Radiant
• Equipment: Philips, Canon, Carestream, Philips Portables, OEC C-arms (9800, Elite Large and mini)
• Age Range: Newborn to Elderly
• Contract Weeks: 112
• Guaranteed Hours: Typically 40 hours per week

Note: Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is strongly recommended. All employees must have personal vehicles or rental vehicles equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November to April.
