Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team for a Day 5x8 schedule. The successful candidate will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and ensure optimal patient care in accordance with physician direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create effective treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients towards discharge.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to patient discharge, including timely equipment trialing and training.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient needs.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Participate in student programs, providing educational opportunities and supervision.
• Develop and pursue an individualized professional development plan and engage in continuing education activities.
• Advocate for patients and the profession through community involvement and professional memberships.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to maximize service quality.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• Valid, current state Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
