Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position requires a professional committed to providing exceptional obstetrical care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. The ideal candidate will utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for the safe delivery of patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, & NRP certifications are required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and leadership skills.
