Cath Lab Tech with EP Experience

Shift: 10H Day/Evening - Rotating schedule (6am - 4:30pm or 9am - 7:30pm)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech with Electrophysiology (EP) experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiology patients.

Unit Notes:

• Number of Cath Labs: 3
• Average Cases Per Day: 15-18

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (address must be outside 50 miles from the facility)
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who have completed 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years
• Must comply with unit-specific requirements

Job Duties:

• Scrub and document cases, and stock rooms.
• Assist physicians with all EP procedures.
• Monitor and circulate cases in EP.
• Utilize EP recording systems effectively.

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• WVRT license
• ARRT Certification (R, CI or VI)

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology (Lectrophysic, PVC, PT, Crio, transeptal ablations, Laser lead extractions).
• Device work and EP recording systems experience.
• Familiarity with equipment such as Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott.

Additional Information:

• On-call hours: 4:30pm to 6:00am
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Floating requirements: Only within Cath Lab & EP
• Scrub color/dress code: OR scrubs provided daily
• Unit specific orientation provided

Schedule:

• Four (4) 10-hour shifts - Day or Afternoon
• Weekend and holiday call requirements apply

Contract Details:

• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract duration: 91 weeks
• BSN required: No
• License to submit: Yes
• Trauma Level: Acute Care Setting
