Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night Shift), 36 weekly guaranteed hours.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the telemetry unit of a community hospital and regional referral center. This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on those with total joint and surgical conditions, as well as acute-on-chronic medical issues such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage telemetry equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Float to other units (IMC, ED) as needed.
• Utilize appropriate medical equipment including Baxter IV pumps, Posey alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinet, and Zoll defibrillators.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in telemetry.
• Certifications: Current ACLS certification required.
• Skills: Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:6; preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred.

Work Environment:

The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with 171-beds, located in a region conducive to outdoor recreation, featuring beautiful mountain ranges and lake scenery. It is conveniently situated close to major cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

Dress Code:

Scrub color: Black (top and bottom). Open shoes are not acceptable attire.
