Travel Med Surg RN Position

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Duration: 13 weeks

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med Surg RN to join our team for a travel position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit. This role requires a nurturing professional with exceptional clinical skills and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Permanent address must be located 50+ miles from the facility.
• Able to float to other units as needed.
