Travel Med Surg RN

Shift Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Responsibilities

General medical administration of medications and patient care.
Remote tele-monitoring with an overview provided by a monitor tech.
Post-operative patient care following surgical procedures.
Assist with general Med Surg duties, including caring for patients recovering from surgeries and those in need of bariatric or oncology treatments.
May float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed.

Requirements

1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required.
Experience in Telemetry nursing is mandatory.
BLS certification is required.
Blocked scheduling is not available.
Cerner experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Number of Beds in Unit: 21
Monthly Department Volume: 585
Patient ratio is 1:6, with a surge plan of a maximum of 1:7.

This position offers guaranteed hours, with the opportunity for 48-hour guarantee requests indicated in the submission form.
