Outpatient Physical Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care in the evaluation and treatment of outpatients. This position primarily focuses on outpatient physical therapy in our satellite office located in Hardwick, VT. The successful candidate may also work at various supported sites and provide care for inpatients in settings such as the Emergency Room (ER), acute care, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). There is potential for participation in weekend and holiday inpatient rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' conditions and goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and preventative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, quality care for all patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in outpatient therapy preferred; pelvic floor experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
