**Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Day Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This position is for the 7A to 7P shift and offers an exciting opportunity to provide care in a dynamic environment focused on maternal and fetal health. **Unit Information:** - **Location:** 3rd Floor - **Number of Beds:** 14 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms and 2 Operating Rooms (ORs) - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 L&D RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs - Night Shift: Similar to Day Shift - **Patient Ratios:** Adheres to AWHONN guidelines with a maximum ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 for Labor and Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. - Perform procedures such as vaginal assisted deliveries, cesarean sections, and D&C’s. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. - Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) including Beacon CPN and Meditech for accurate documentation and reporting. **Qualifications:** - Required: - Proven experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. - Strong background in postpartum care. - Preferred: - Experience in LDRP settings. **Ideal Candidate Traits:** - Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and patient needs. - Possesses a kind demeanor, with a focus on compassionate care. - Candidates who value a drama-free workplace will thrive in our team-oriented environment. **Additional Information:** - Contract Duration: 91 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 1/1 **Why Choose This Opportunity?** Join a progressive unit with skilled staff and access to cutting-edge equipment and technology.
