**Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery** **Shift:** 7P - 7A **Location:** Denver, CO (L&D Unit 707) **Position Overview:** We are seeking dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM at a reputable facility known for its comprehensive maternal care. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** - 12 Labor & Delivery - 8 Triage - 11 Antepartum - **Total Staff:** 72 - **Patient Ratios:** - L&D: 1:2 - Triage: 1:3-4 - Antepartum: 1:4 - **Type of Equipment Used:** Centricity, GE monitors - **EMR System:** Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. - Actively participate in vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, D&C procedures, hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and versions. - Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach, particularly with high-risk obstetric patients. **Qualifications:** - **Required:** - Current RN license - BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - Experience circulating in the operating room - **Preferred:** - Previous travel nursing experience - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience **Ideal Candidate:** - A team player with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. - A strong communicator who prioritizes patient safety and quality care. **Why Join Us?** - Gain hands-on experience in a busy and supportive labor and delivery unit, equipped with new technology and dedicated staff. - Be a part of a highly regarded institution that prioritizes employee satisfaction and professional growth.
