**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery** **Position Type: Contract - Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)** **Location: Missoula, MT** **Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) team in Missoula, Montana. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic healthcare environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor and delivery. - Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout the labor process. - Assist in the childbirth process, providing support and education to patients and their families. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to create and implement individualized care plans. - Provide post-partum care, ensuring the mother and infant's health and wellbeing. - Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records. - Adhere to all safety and medical protocols, demonstrating a commitment to patient care. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license in the state of Montana. - 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum nursing. - Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Ability to float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed. - Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. **Unit Information:** - The Labor and Delivery unit features various patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, 3:1) depending on the needs of the patients. - Staff will work with a diverse population, providing care to women during one of the most critical times in their lives. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs of any color are acceptable. **Why Choose Us?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
