**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift, Ortho/Tele** **Location:** Acute Care Setting **Shift:** 12-Hour Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), Weekends as Needed **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ortho/Tele unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions including total joint replacements, fractures, and other related diagnoses. You will be integral to a dynamic team that ensures effective patient management and outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population on the Ortho/Tele unit. - Utilize strong orthopedic nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs and progress. - Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with fellow nursing staff, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals. - Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans and care processes. **Unit Information:** - Total Beds: 22 - Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 - Charge Nurse: Available 24/7 - Nurse Aides: 3 CNA’s per shift (Ratios 1:7-8) **Requirements:** - Valid and active RN license. - BLS certification required. - Strong orthopedic experience, specifically with total joint replacements and fractures. - Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Previous travel nursing experience preferred; must not have worked with this facility for at least 2 years. **Additional Information:** - Unit orientation will consist of 1-2 shifts. - COVID-19 vaccination required unless an exemption is provided due to medical or religious reasons. - Applicants must disclose any background hits at the time of submission. **Benefits We Offer:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
