**Job Title: Interventional Cardiology and EP Nurse - Cath Lab** **Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology (EP) Nurse to provide support for structural heart and EP procedures in the Cath Lab. This role requires proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring various procedures, including Cath, EP, and Watchman procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Scrub and monitor interventional cardiology and EP procedures in the Cath Lab. - Ensure a sterile field and adhere to best practices in infection control. - Participate in rotating call coverage during the weekdays and weekends. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. - Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EPIC and McKesson systems. - Assist with a variety of procedures including balloon angioplasty, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions. - Provide patient education and support before, during, and after procedures. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related environment. - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT. Preferred: AART Advanced Certification, CCI RCIS. - Strong skills in EKG monitoring, catheterization, and interventional cardiology procedures. - Experience with Siemens, shockwave, rotoblader/CSI, aniojet, and Philips Allura FD 20 equipment is highly desirable. - Must be able to provide call coverage as needed. **Skills:** - Accurate monitoring and assessment of hemodynamic status. - Knowledge of angioplasty, cardiac mapping, stenting, and thrombectomy techniques. - Proficient in emergency procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and ECMO. - Experience with both adult and pediatric/neonatal diagnostic catheterizations. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. **Additional Information:** - The facility operates three Cath Lab rooms with a daily census of approximately 10 patients. - Flexible scheduling with 4x10 hour workdays. - Travel candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify.
