**Job Title: Surgical Services Nurse (Night Shift)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Services Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team for the night shift (3x12 hours, 18:15 - 06:45). This position requires on-call duties as needed and is suitable for nurses with a strong background in a variety of surgical procedures, particularly with Da Vinci robotic surgery and neuro/craniectomy experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Scrub in and assist in general, orthopedic, neuro (crani), ENT, urology, and GYN surgical cases. - Proficiently operate Da Vinci surgical systems and assist with laparoscopic/endoscopic procedures. - Support surgical teams in specialties including spine, trauma, podiatry, and bariatrics. - Maintain documentation and charting efficiently within the EPIC system. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical services is required. - Proven ability to scrub for various surgical cases, with expertise in Da Vinci and neuro surgery as a hard stop requirement. - BLS certification required. - Previous charge experience is a plus. **Unit Details:** - The unit has a daily census of approximately 35 patients, with 13 operating rooms. - The role may include circulating duties for a variety of surgical procedures and requires flexibility for weekend and on-call coverage. **Patient Care:** - Serve a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. - Manage patient care for a range of diagnoses requiring surgical interventions. This position operates under a strict 100-mile radius rule, meaning you must live at least 100 miles away from the facility to qualify.
