**Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This is a night shift position (12 hours, 7 PM to 7 AM) in a busy and fast-paced environment, providing care to patients of all ages in a New York State Designated Stroke Center. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5. - Participate in advanced life support measures (ACLS) and maintain current certifications in PALS and BLS. - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage IV drips and ventilators as needed. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse aides, and charge nurses. - Engage in patient education and support families during emergencies. - Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. - Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required. **Qualifications:** - Active New York State Nursing License in good standing. - Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS. - Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. **Additional Information:** - Contract duration: 91 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Orientation provided specific to the Emergency Department. **Why Join Our Team?** As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will have access to a supportive work environment that prioritizes your health and professional growth. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
