**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)** **Shift:** Day | 4x12.0 **Location:** [Specify Location] **Duration:** 13 Weeks | ASAP Start | 48-hour Assignment **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will play a vital role in delivering quality nursing care by implementing and following the patient care plan, as well as supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This position emphasizes a commitment to patient and employee safety while providing a supportive and efficient work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, establishing an individualized care plan based on the data collected. - Identify patient education needs and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to set achievable health goals. - Provide timely updates on patient status during Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient assessments, interventions, and responses in accordance with policy guidelines. - Engage actively in patient rehabilitation programs, employing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while prioritizing patient and family education. - Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission, anticipating discharge needs. - Communicate changes in patient status to relevant care providers to ensure continuity of care and enhance patient safety. - Offer direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, utilizing problem-solving techniques for effective decision-making. - Foster a safe working environment in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on personal and environmental safety. - Contribute positively to unit functioning through effective team collaboration and communication, maintaining a calm and encouraging demeanor. - Coordinate with management regarding supply needs, equipment maintenance, and clinical training to proficiently complete assigned duties. - Take on charge responsibilities as requested following the orientation period to support unit operations. - Seek opportunities for professional growth and development through continuing education and self-study. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) License. - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required prior to your first shift. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to your first shift. - Minimum of two years of clinical bedside experience post-graduation; experience in Stepdown, ICU, LTACH, or PCU highly desired. **Behavioral Characteristics:** - A strong commitment to patient safety. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Proficient in time management and prioritizing patient needs. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
