**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit (12H Nights)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a position in the Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit (NIMU) for 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on patient care within a supportive team atmosphere, including interactions with students and new hires. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Monitor and manage patient vitals in a critical care environment, ensuring timely interventions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the educational environment by supporting students and new hires. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty. - Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Previous travel nursing experience preferred. - Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is advantageous. - Active Virginia or Compact Nursing License required at the time of submission. - Availability for 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs. **Additional Information:** - This position is for specific start dates, with opportunities for one assignment only—no renewals allowed. - Orientation is conducted every other week on Mondays. - The client reserves the right to cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to patient census. - All requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the submission packet. **Schedule:** - 12-hour night shifts (Nights) - Assignments end on Saturdays At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
