**Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg & Telemetry** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is ideal for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg and Telemetry units, with an occasional floating to other areas as needed. - Monitor patients’ conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Maintain a patient ratio based on acuity, typically 1:5-6 on Med/Surg, and 2:1 in the stepped-down ICU unit. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Utilize telemedicine technology to assist in patient care and communication with intensivists and local attendings. - Willingness to care for pediatric patients and obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification while on assignment. **Qualifications:** - Current and unexpired state nursing license. - BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required. - Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or similar units preferred. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient needs effectively. **Additional Information:** - 12-hour day shifts with weekend availability as scheduled. - Guaranteed 36 hours per week. - Opportunities to float to different units based on staffing needs and patient acuity. - Background check disclosures are required during the application submission process.
