**Job Title: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role involves working rotating shifts of 12 hours, specifically from 7 AM to 7 PM or 3 PM to 3 AM. The position requires the flexibility to work at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other week, along with participation in holiday coverage as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. - Monitor patient vital signs and manage intensive medical needs. - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes. - Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately using EPIC charting software. - Maintain a flexible schedule to align with the facility’s needs. **Qualifications:** - A valid and active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. - Must have at least 2 years of recent professional nursing experience, specifically in an ICU environment. - Current certifications in NIH Stroke Scale, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position. **Contract Duration:** - 13 weeks with the potential for extensions based on performance and facility needs. **Miscellaneous:** - Ability to adapt to varied scheduling demands and requirements as necessary.
