**Job Title: IMU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IMU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a 12-hour night shift position. This role requires providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including those with medical-surgical, telemedicine, cardiac IMCU, neuro, and CVA diagnoses. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and will thrive in a dynamic, teaching hospital environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMU unit during night shifts. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, medications, and therapeutic interventions. - Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. - Support and mentor nursing students and new hires in a teaching hospital setting. - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care nursing specialty, particularly in IMU or related fields. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. - Active VA or Compact Nursing License at the time of submission. - Prior travel nursing experience is mandatory. - Charge nurse experience is preferred. - Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system is advantageous. - Willingness to work with a flexible schedule, including the possibility of working 2-3 weekends per month. **Contract Details:** - Contract duration: 13-16 weeks, with one assignment only and no renewals. - Guaranteed hours with an orientation every other week on Mondays. - Assignments will conclude on Saturdays, starting on specified dates. - Must submit all required time-off requests (RTO) at the time of application. **Additional Information:** - This position may experience cancellations due to fluctuations in patient census up to 36 hours in advance. - Float requirements: No floating will be expected in this position. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
