**Job Title: Per Diem PACU/ICU Nurse** **Shift:** Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Per Diem PACU/ICU Nurse to join our team. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional with a minimum of two years of experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and demonstrated skills in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive postoperative care to patients in the PACU, ensuring their safety and comfort during recovery. - Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, promptly identifying and addressing any changes. - Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed, following all safety protocols. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically the Miditech Program. - Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience. - Required ICU experience for critical care management. - Current nursing license that is in good standing. - Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Contract Details:** - Guaranteed Hours: 12 - Contract Weeks: 362 At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
