**Job Description: Per Diem Registered Nurse (PACU/ICU)** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in both the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. **Shift Details:** - Shift: Nights (19:00 PM - 7:00 AM) - Duration: 12-hour shifts **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and those with critical care needs. - Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. - Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using the EMR Miditech system. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding patient care and progress. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU setting. - Prior ICU experience is required. - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
